This whole thread is too funny, MS os' don't run executions any slower, they just execute a bunch of rubbish in the middle.

as for the problem, have you tried unplugging your speakers from the computer? it could be a low frequency produced by the speakers (actually sound card w/ bad drivers) does the cat's collar run on batteries? or is it only magnetic.

also check the ground connection of your computer.
