good thing u didn't.. that would have killed the MB if you would have been able to do it=)
As for a hacked Bios.. I don't know of any sites. but I can tell you this.. and do so at your own risk.. some MB still to today have jumpers.. and dipswitches on the MB where u can set the CPU speed voltage.. and so forth.. take a lookat the MB and see if it does.. read your MB handbook that came with the MB.. also be warned.. not all AMD chips like to be overclocked very high.. as I am not a overclocker myself, I cna not tell whihc are best.. for the chip you have.. I know a little about overclocking, and what not to do =) but not enough to advise a person in doing so.. So be carefull with the dip switches.. and voltage, and multiplier settings if you do have dipswitches and jumpers for setting these things yourself..
I have sent a message to have this thread moved.. so with hope it will be moved to the right thread.. or you can repost the question to the correct forum which I will list below.. and which will be the fastest way to get your questions answered.. as only ppl loking for deals on the net and local store deals come to this forum.. http://www.techimo.com/forum/f4/index.html
they deal with overclocking on the forum listed above..
