Cheap...Cheap DVD media. (HELP!)

I have a P3 866MHz, 384MB RAM, and a Pioneer A05 DVD-R burner, running Windows 2000. I have used several kinds of DVD-R media for burning home videos, and all have worked without any coasters. About a month ago I wanted to save some cash, so I bought cheaper. 45 Princo 1x for just under $45. Very good deal! I used the latest version of Dazzle complete and all burned fine without any skips, and all worked fine with my new RCA DVD player. I needed more. I ordered another batch of 150.

The first DVD video I burned was a coaster. When I was about midway (1 hour) watching on my stand alone DVD player the DVD skipped a few times and froze. Hmm, a coaster, probably a factory misperfection or some kind of interference such as dust. I later burned the same video, the same thing happend. Almost at the same spot the DVD skipped and froze. I began suspecting that this was my stand alone DVD player, so I watched the DVD on my DVD burner on my computer. This time it was all fine untill the last 20minutes, and then it froze. I tested my old Princo DVD's that I had burnt a month ago, and they worked fine. I burned a couple more with different options, but the same thing had happend again.

I called up the computer vendor that I had bought the media from, and they told me that there was: "no refunds" because of their policy somewhere hidden on their website. They just recommended to update Firmware, and call Princo for help. I've updated all drivers, firmware, and even the program. I've tried burning using Nero, Easy CD/DVD creator, and Sonic DVD, and all have given me the same results. I purchased a couple Verbatin DVD's for four times the price, and they have worked perfectly.

So... I now have about 15waisted coasters, and 135 more waiting to be coasters. My theory is that the Princo factory screwed up, and are now selling defective DVD's. Is there any hope left? Is there anything I should do? Please help!
