I Used to Install for HSA (Charters cable modem provider) and they had a DHCP problem that was never resolved that required either a release /renew of the ip if it was directly connected to the pc or if it was a router it had to be rebooted. THey always said it was a system problem but every router and computer I or the other installers delt with had this problem.
