I believe he is running Linux and I have no clue about that short disconnecting your modem and plugging it back in about 15 minutes later(might work) dont hold me to that.

And yeah......no more winipcfg in win 2k or winxp

You might try going to dos prompt and typing IPCONFIG

BTW, you sure you dont have a static IP right? heh.
