i had a problem where my mouse suddenly would not look at all. i found this solution and it worked . . .

go to config.txt and find your video card.

underneath it type:

DisableBuffering
break

for example:

0x0201 = "Geforce3 Ti200"
DisableBuffering
break

worked like magic for me.
