Hi Mark,
I agree with the AdAware 6 option. Run it and delete anything that looks questionable. If you see that there are some in the registry and you don't want to delete them, don't. Next thing is to open up Internet Explorer and go under TOOLS/INTERNET OPTIONS, first line listed when that window comes up is ADDRESS, you will notice that the homepage that you are used to is not listed, in it's place is this other one that you are having trouble with. Remove that one and put your good ole' home address that you want your pc to boot to and save and apply. If it boots back to this other undesirable webpage for your homepage then you are going to have to delete the cookies that AdAware 6 finds in your registery, that is your problem. It looks to the registery when it boots and therefore changes the home address everytime you reboot. Have fun. Hope this helps, John.  |
