Suggestions for W2K(compatible) cd ripping software
I had AudioCatalyst on my EX-98se machine, which is now running windows 2000. It is a neat program, but it doesn't support(or maybe the other way around.. ) W2K.
I liked the AudioCatalyst, but was looking for some input on what someone here might be using that they liked and had good luck with.
Doesn't have to be free, but if I gotta pay, I want some features, ya know..
I think the AudioCatalyst was like either 20 or 30 bucks..
My original setup was to use AC on the 98 box to convert to MP3, then pull across my home network and store on the MP3 server.( 2 60 gig raid arrays, got like 42 gigs worth now, with about 200 cd's in my collection left to go)
I would do playback with the 98 machine as well, since the server doesn't have a soundcard in it, but will still use the same machine with 2000 on it now to playback.
Any thoughts or advice greatly apprecieated.

I use the OLD Realjukebox (I know...), with the freebie 320k upgrade. Only use it to rip. There are only 10 types of people that understand binary.....

That's funny, I have Audio Catalyst 2.1 running on XP Pro. I know it worked fine on my 2k box.
