| How to get rid of unwanted folders?
Hello,
I have Windows XP Pro, Sp1, and there are several folders in my Program Files that just won't delete. These folders are MSN Gaming Zone, xerox, microsoft frontpage, NetMeeting. It always gives me this message.
Any ideas? When I boot into safe mode, they delete, but return when I reboot. What gives?

Will this give me error messages once Windows finds out that they're missing? |

You would need to delete them from the restore folders also.
Like, outlook express files when you delete them, come back from these locations ->
%systemroot%\system32\dllcache\ and
%systemroot%\ServicePackFiles\i386
Why do you need to delete the folders? I know that deleting the files from all those locations keeps them from coming back, but I have no idea how to remove entire folders.
//edit:
You could try this to stop the sfc from working alltogether. http://www.winguides.com/registry/display.php/790
I wouldn't suggest it though. |

Whats that file anyway? nwwia? If it is an unknown folder than possibly it could be a virus. I hate saying that
