I don't know what I've done but I can't get on to windows. When the computer loads up a window ask for a name and password. I've tried every name and password that I can think of but none of them work. Help I want back on my computer! |

IDENTICAL) on both PCs, and, finally, that you have shared the drive(s) and/or folder(s). When you get the username/password prompt, just enter one of the accounts that you created.
I only suggested "workgroups" and left out any discussion of domain servers, because most home network folks don't bother to create a domain server.

Just out of curiosity, what version of windows? If you were running windows 9x or ME, you dont have to login to it. you could have just canceled and still gotten to the desktop.
Since you mentioned system restore, i would guess you have either windows ME or XP.
But, since you got it working, i was just wondering what version of windows. |
