Dummie on Windows 98 Question

Howdy All,

Just over at my Ma's place for Pa's 65 Bday and her sound icon in the system tray has disappeared on her. I've looked around for a while and can't seem how to find how to get it back. I've rebooted thinking that it would just reappear in the system tray, but to no avail. Can someone tell me how to get that little bugger back into the system tray for her. She's running Windows 98 on a basic Emachine.

Control Panel.

Should be a check box to show in the Taskbar in sounds.

In the Control Panel, double click the icon for Multimedia. Somewhere in there is a check box for "show volume on the taskbar".
