FYI.....PeerGuardian 1.99 pr14 http://methlabs.org/forums/index.php? PeerGuardian is software that blocks known IP addresses, typically from the RIAA and its minions, from scanning your system.

FlashFXP is great.....it's not really free...it's like WinRAR. It will tell you that your trial has expired after 30 days. Right now it says 'You are on day 277 of your 30 day evaluation period.'

I've been using the same version of WinRAR for well over a year and it still works. It just asks me to register each time I open a zip file.


Trillian - MSN, ICQ, AIM, YIM, and IRC in 1 program

EFTP - Easy to use FTP server

WordWeb - Dictionary and thesaurus that stays in the system tray (I love this program)

RealVNC - Remotely control other computers (great for home servers with no keyboard, mouse, or monitor)

WebSite Watcher - Make pages available offline. IE can do this but this program puts the files in a location you can actually find


If you ever need a program for a specific purpose, look at Snapfiles. Thats where I find most of my free stuff.

Spambayes is a decent anti-spam filter for Outlook and Outlook Express.

How could I forget NaDa?
Anyways, both WinZip and WinRAR are not free, thats what I know. Now if you can use them as long as you want, that I dont know, still they are not free.
