internet explorer changes route to proxy server

Windows explorer changes the default routing to using a proxy server. Every time
that I connect to the internet with my dialup connection. I connect properly but can't surf until I check the automatic detect box.
Any ideas why it would do that?

That is probably something that your ISP is making you do. Why not leave the automatic detect box checked all the time, then you don't have to keep doing it.

You have to put 127.0.0.1 port 81 in your browsers' proxy settings to work

Another reason for browser switching to proxy setting would be if you have an Ad/popup blocker, which is my case with Adsubtract. It does this to setup a listening port to monitor ads and popups coming thru. Currently Adsub 3.0 is causing me grief in this area, intermute did a terrible job on this new release!

Still dont' work but someone told me if I delete all my internet and network
connections. Then start from scratch whatever is changing the setting will not return..
