RegCleaner is an excellent program, but TuneUp Utilities is better. TuneUp Utilities is not free.

~ RegSupreme is the best registry cleaner I've used so far. It's not freeware though.
~ RegScrubXP is a great registry cleaner that works with XP and 2000. Freeware.

I use EasyCleaner, keeps the registry tidy and does a lot more system cleanup operations too.

do not use system mechanic 4, it tries to compress your hive and makes your machine do a reboot to try to do it over and over. System mechanic 3 > System mechanic 4

the new one just sucks sadly

regsupreme is all i use.
