Well the only two browsers I have had experience with are IE, which we all know blows, and Mozilla.
I will obviously say Mozilla is the best, but that's only because I have never tried the others out. I also wont compare it to the other ones, and I wont even bother comparing it with IE, because like I stated before, IE blows. Mozilla is very easy to use. Its interface is similar to IE which makes things easier. Bookmarks transfer right over too. Deleting cookies, history, and address bar history is also very easy. Mozilla comes with a nice mail program, too, which like the browser is very easy to use.
Probably the only complaint is that Mozilla hogs some resources. Right now it's using 18,100K of memory, and 67,360K of virtural memory. Oh well, that's my browser and I'm stickin to it. |

I was using IE but have downloaded Mozilla 1.7 and been using it for about 6 weeks now. You might want to use 1.6 as it is a final version where 1.7 is still being worked on according to Mozilla. |

I downloaded Mozilla FireFox a few days ago, and i must say that i'm impressed!
It's hard to explain, but it just has all those features IE doesn't - Skins, download manager and so on...
The best part was that it was able to import my IE settings automatically, so no fiddling with gateways and DNS.
Mozilla has also made a complete internet suite available for download (with firefox included) at www.mozilla.org
Oh yeah.... and it stops pop-ups as well |
