I've enver had problems with it. Infact, last year I installed the 5.93 version becasue the codecs for WMP9 got messed up. Ace Mega Codec Pack pro actually fixed WMP9 for me.
RIght now I am running it just fine with WMP9, WMP CLassic, and BSPlayer.
The only thing that needs to be done is to upgrade the xvid codecs after you install this.
Also, WMP10 is still in beta and might not work correctly with alot of codec packs as its very buggy in its self.

I've never had a problem it myself. And even if did mess up something there's no reason to have to do a system restrore, that's ridiculous. |

well, i was just about to start a new thread for this, but i think here will be just as good.
i just found a site which is loaded up with handy little utilities. i haven't had a chance to play with anything there yet, but the url is http://www.sysinternals.com/index.shtml
