How to remove a boot partition in a dual boot system?

Hi,

I have a dual boot environment with two Win XP installed on different disks, XP1 and XP2 . XP1 was installed first and contains the boot files (NTLDR, boot.ini...) and XP2 came second. Now, I would like to keep XP2 and get rid of XP1. How can i delete XP1 since it contains the boot files? if i delete XP1 i am afraid to not be able to boot on XP2...
I know that with W2K, Win9x, there's a command called "SYS" that can affect the boot process to a partition, is there anything like that with WinXP?

Thanks in advance
Balbaz

sys actually copies the system (dos, that is) files to a disk and makes it bootable. i think you may have to edit the boot.ini file on your primary master (c:) drive/partition.

Boot.ini cannot solve my problem, it only changes the boot sequence.

sorry i thought you would have to remove xp1 from there, and set xp2 to default, then delete the xp1 windows and documents folders from the drive.
