Anyone have a set of HP App Recovery disks #5065-6001?

I'm trying to find a set of Application recovery disks for an HP Pavilion 8755C part #5065-6001. We've recently moved, I broke my leg last week, my 11 yr-old totally screwed up the computer this week, HP told my tough luck today, and I have spent all morning looking online with no luck. I really need my computer for work (especially w/ the break), and I spent all last night hopping up and down the stairs and trying to negotiate boxes of stuff trying to find my disks. I'm sore, tired, and frustrated!-- anybody out their have any suggestions or solutions? I would be seriously grateful! Thanks

We have a copy of that recovery kit.

I am just curious, do you have a restore partition on your hard drive? I am asking, because if you bought your HP new, with the partition, and no restore disks, there was a lawsuit that you had to sign up for to get the disks from HP. I just got mine last Saturday, after 6 months of waiting, so if you did sign up for the settlement, maybe yours are in the mail.

Thanks so much for the replies to my desperate plea. Hobbled around my house for days, posted requests everywhere-- what a mess. gave up. was able to get some of my stuff to work, actually hooked up my old computer and used it for awhile. Then, months later, guess what I found in the bottom of my husband's desk drawer? You got it-- my recovery disks! Really appreciate the info, though. It was nice of you to let me know!
