I wonder if anyone can give me any advice.
I run a small network at home for about 7 machines, I use one windows 2000 professional machine as a server for file and print sharing, internet access (using internet sharing on a dsl modem) and also as a web and ftp server. The machine is getting a little old and I was looking at replacing it with a machine that comes with SBS installed but I have a few queries
1. The articles I have read seem to indicate you have to use SBS as a domain controller which I don't really want to do, peer to peer suits me fine, does it have to be used as a domain controller
2. You only get five user licences, does this apply only when using as a domain controller or does it affect peer to peer connections, is this five concurrent connections or do you have to licence the clients in some way
3. Can I still provide internet access using my DSL modem and internet connection sharing on SBS
4. Does IIS have any conncurrent connection limitations as Win2000/XP pro does
Any help or advice would be appreciated
