| files and folder protection programs
hey guys, i need a program which protects files and folders from being deleted and moved. for example, the windows directory and other stuff.
is there any programs that protects it so it wont be deleted or moved

what os are you running?
a simple solution would to use NTFS and set file premissions if you are using winxp/win2000 |

If you are running Windows XP, you can set up accounts that don't allow those accounts to do such. They may be able to view such systems folders, but not make any changes to them.

RayH, i only want one user account, | go to start menu-->control panel-->User accounts-->create a account-->type any name u want to-->check limited and reboot the system after clicking confirm/create . you would be asked to enter one account ( in this case , either administrator or the account you just created ) . you can also create account with a password . so you wont be able to access that account unless you know the password . sorry I dont think you can have only one user account without an administrator account first ... |
