Outlook .pst file

I recently backed up my old .pst files in outlook, and then re-installed them in a new installation of windows xp.

It's all working fine, but I cannot find my outbox? It wont show up anywhere.

But I know it 'exists' in some form, since outlook is currently trying to send an email that i no longer need sent, and would like to delete.

How can i make my outbox show up? or, why is it not showing up?

Here are some photos to explain whats happening:

The first photo (outlook1.jpg) shows the normal outlook window, if you look on the left, you will see that the outbox folder is missing.

The 2nd photo (oulook2.jpg) shows the 'Create New Folder' window, in the list you can see that my outbox folders does in fact exist, it even tells me how many emails are in it.

But for some reason the outbox folder wont show up in the normal outlook window with all other folders such as inbox, drafts, etc..

problem solved, i didn't have the folder-view turned on
