Outlook Express error messages

Hi, I am having problems with my Outlook Express. I keep getting the following error messages. I have talked to tech support at sbc and msn. They have refigured settings 3 times. Still makes no difference. I also tried to reinstal IE twice and still no difference.

I use windows 98 second edition

I started having these problems when I put on Metropipe . Also the IE and Yahoo browser will not work anymore. I have since uninstalled Metropipe and also talked to their tech support about these problems. They tell me it is a Microsoft issue.
I was hoping that someone here could help me out with this.

Welcome to the forum!

one thing you can try is just to reinstall windows98 again..without formatting the hard drive

you can boot from the windows cd and do it or just boot to windows and put the windows cd in and install windows again like that

Thanks for the sugestion. I am not sure I know how to do that. I have a Gateway and the operating system is on the second disk along with other things. I will try and see what happens.
