    User Profiles in XP

At work we have just set up a new server with MS Server 2003

We have several XP computers that have to be connected to this server that are currently connected to a Novell Server.

After attaching the first PC and changing to our new domain, the machine has a new profile.

The email, shortcuts and all user specific info doesn't show in the new profile.

Is there an easy way to migrate the old profile?

Thanks in advance for any help!!!

Right click My computer, click properties. From the Systems properties click the advanced tab then the user profiles button. Highlight the profile you want replicated and click copy to. find the user profile you want to match the one you've highlighted and let it run.

    OK!!!

I know it's been a while since I posted this question, I've tried and tried every which way and it still won't work.

I'm taking a machine that was previously on a Novelle server and putting it on a MS server 2003.

All the local profiles work fine but as soon as I log on to the MS domain most of the apps won't run... registry doesn't have the entrys!!!

Is there anyway to make it work without reinstalling the apps????

    Please help!!!!

I get on the domain fine, it's the software that was installed on the old profile that won't run on the new profile (same user name & password) on the new domain!!!!

For those of you that have read this thread and possibly have had the same issue, I have found the solution.

The directions are located on this site:
