| Computer turns on the off in about 10 seconds
i recently built my pc and all that happens is it turns on, with all the beeps and everything, then right as its about to load the bios, its turns off! help me out here, cuz im so confused.
specs: gigabyte GA-8IPE775-G mobo, 3.4 p4 HTT, x800 pro, samsung sata 120g hdd, western digital ide 160g hd, creative labs audigy sound, plextor 12x dvd-rw, all in a tsunami case with an antec 430 watt true power psu[/font] |

make sure that the hsf is put on correctly, I have had the same problem b4, make sure nothing is obstructing your processor, have had that happen b4 too  (such as a thermal probe etc.) maybe try reseating your CPU and Ram and see if that helps. Good luck

ye, if it beeps more than once u have a problem. 1 short beep is all u need. |

it beeps like crazy, and the LEDs that are on the RAM go all the way to the top |

Ok, can you tell us how many times it beeps and the order and if they are long or short? If it goes off like an alarm it is most likely something to do with your CPU.. |
