Windows XP And Folder Views Not Saving > : (

ok this is about to drive me up the wall. Since ive installed this win xp (about 15months ago), about once a month all of my folder views would "reset". Would really make me mad but it was livable.

About a month ago i got a blue screen after i left my computer on for about a month straight. since then none of my folder views will save at all. I will go into a folder, organize it the way i want, then i can close that folder and open it again and the view is back to defualt! AAAAHHH!!

so, anyone have any info??

when you installed XP did you use FAT or NTFS as your file system?
did you upgrade or do clean install?
you could try doing a repair install... just remember to back up your favorites folder and your email if your use outlook express
if you do not know how to do a repair install then ask... we can walk you through it...
you will need an actual xp cd ... not a restore disk
