i810.o module for linux
Has anyone managed to succesfully compile the 1.2 versione drivers for the intel i810 graphics chips from the intel website. I need them so i can get decent frame rates in openGL. However when i compile them it tells me i need a 2.2 version of the kernel. However despite my best efforts at compiling a 2.2 kernel i cant get it to work. If anyone has compiled the 2.2 version, could they please email me the i810.o file so i can just overwrite my old version. I know this might not work but this is my last hope. Ive tried everything i can think off to get this graphics chip to do its work.

Have you successfully compiled any other programs/applications?
What version of Linux are you running? Are the appropriate kernel headers installed?
-sorry, gotta ask

hello,
no - you definately want kernel 2.4 headers with a 2.4 kernel.Odds are very good there are several spelling mistakes in this post.
