| New here to techimo and a novice.
I have put XP on one of a two computer newtwork, the other remains 98sw as it runs a couple of necessary programs. The programs are runing ok on the XP computer BUT the programs run in a small windows screen.
Alt/enter does not work. A new video card and different monitor all fail to offer full screen view.
One program has a screen saver, which after the six minute wait, turns the screen into full view (as if magically). The second program, written in foxpro (tells you how old the program is) remains as a small window. Much more of this and I'll go bug eyed.
Any tech info (in english please) certrainly appreciated. |

| Didn't quite understand that when purchasing XP, but well understood now. No DOS on XP, actually that sucks. Our litttle system has had two full (and I mean full) crashes since 98se was loaded. Only programs still running - DOS. All windoze
programs went - bibi
Still, what to do to get these screens the right size. |

| You could always download a real, free MS-DOS emulator that is designed to work with ALL DOS applications. You can get it at: http://dosbox.sourceforge.net/news.php?show_news=1 . It also allows you to force any emulator to display the DOS program at full-screen resolution.

| So loading this dosbox emulator will allow dos screens to be seen in full mode rather than mini windows?
If this works, we're good as gold. Much appreciate your input. |

| Yes, DOSBOX is great. I use it to run older DOS-based games, and yes, it lets you go fullscreen or run in a window. The documentation covers using it fairly well, but let us know if you can't get it. |
