dloading in IE6.0
for sum reason when i try to dload files using the built in IE dloader, it just opens them and i have to go a Save As. Is there a way i can change this so a screen appears with the choices Open Save Cancel?

This is why you should switch to Firefox: www.mozilla.org

i though this would be easy to find in tools --internet options, but i can't find it.
but...............
if you are using xp you might want to install sp2, its got a more secure approach to downloading.
XP SP2 ignore all the stuff about installing on more than one machine, getting this full file is better IMO than auto update.
might also try Firefox as an alternative.

If you have sp2 (winxp) installed then you have the most up to date version of IE..
And when was the last time you tried other browsers... firefox is widely supported.

Go to control panel>Folder Options>File Types, select each type of file you want a confirmation dialog box for>click "Advanced">check the box that says "confirm open after download".

Make sure the valve cover isn't slightly warped too - I changed gaskets 3 times before realizing. At least on my 1988 it's aluminum, not sure yours had the same issue in your year.
