Hi there.
Recently I had to restore my system using the Windows XP utility. As I restored to a point on which a video card was not intalled yet, right after the re start of the system, the PC recognized the card and asked for the installation CD. I cancelled this operation, and the system got recovered fine, except beacause righ know, when I open the START-SEARCH menu, I only get the windows (the blue left side and the right white side, WITHOUT text, buttons or links. This same is happening with START- APROGRAMS-ACCESORIES-SYTEM TOOLS- RECOVERY ASSITANT. The window opnes blank. If I open the code, I can see the HTML code, but in normal view there is absolutely nothing there. So, I'm unable to search or restore-create restore points on my PC. Do you have idea what happened and how to fix it without reinstalling windows.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
