Did you tried accessing your account in Safe Mode?
If it does let you in, quickly run your antivirus or an anti-spyware application.

So in Safe Mode you get the same error (windows cannot log in?).
Have you tried (by pressing the same F8 key to access Safe Mode) entering the Last Known Configuration option?
On the reinstallation issue, You mean you want to boot from the CD to reinstall everything?
You need to go in the BIOS of your computer (usually pressing the Del key on the keyboard when you start up your computer -- when the RAM is being counted). After that, go into the Drives option of the BIOS (depending the BIOS options are different) and change the order. It should at least show you this on the BIOS). |

So you went into the BIOS (its the "set-up" you go into when the computer starts) and it doesn't let you change the Drive order?!?!?!
THat's weird! It's the BIOS password protected or something?
Are you sure you are saving the changes when you try and change the boot order? |
