For those of you waiting for WinMX 3 you can download the latest beta here as the new network is not compatible with 2.6 there is a much smaller network to search. However as I can't get 2.6 to run properly on my XP rig and this has been running fine since Beta 3 a small network is better than none.

ps as it is beta it may make a mess of your installation so at your own risk but it is beta 4 so the risk shouldn't be that great

It's a file sharing program. Pretty good for mp3's. The network for version 3 beta is a bit limited compared with what the standard one that 2.6 uses but once version 3 is properly released that will be sorted out
Beta 5 is now out for those of you who've still not tried it. Hopefully this means that the release version will be out soon really missing the network that 2.6 has.
