Windows 2003 Server terminal Server Domain Problem

Otay...here's the siuation.

I am administering a Windows 2003 Server Standard Edition...my first time on this particular machine.

Its only real function is Terminal Services so that remote offices can share a proprietary application on the server.

I have been dealing with tech support for this prooprietary software and this is what he says(maybe someone out there can back him up???):

" When originally installed, the server was just for Term Services, then later it was made to be a domain controller as well. Somehow, this caused us to lose any licences that were not being used or activated"

Does this sound correct?? Does anyone have any more input.

The real problem is, we can only have 2 connections to our term server, and we should be able to use 6.

it turns out that our Term server licencing program was not installed correctly or was corrupted, so were not using Term server licenses when we logged in, but we were using Remote Desktop..and the limit for Remote Desktop is two connections..therefore I could not make more than two connections.

So a reinstall of the Term Server licensing is what was needed. Now we need to find info on our Licenesing Pack for the reinstall.
