All Apps You Run for System Security?

Greetings... I was just researching apps to run for system security. It got me wondering what others here run. This is what I run in XP Pro- ZA Pro set to high Security, Norton AntiVirus 2001 with auto scan and email protect, adaware auto run at boot, system mechanic auto maintenance every other day and a good bit of Java disabled in internet settings. I feel pretty comfortable with my current security measures and settings as well as happy with system performance (resources). What does everyone here do?

I have a linksys cable/dsl router that used to be installed, just havent got around to hooking up again since new install over weekend (use for cable split and the purpose of physical firewall).

(other measures that were put in place and checked every now and again- GRC.com= Socket Lock, UDnP...., Disable Folder sharing-deleted as a matter of fact- and other things I cant remember. I have a list to check periodically and check off on installs and reinstalls)

XP Pro: Zonealarm, customized Internet security settings, NAV 2002, strong NTFS permissions, customized local security policy settings, and locking my computer whenever I'm not at it (especially at a LAN party or at work).

I also keep up-to-date on patches for everything, and use common sense whenever downloading anything or opening email.

linksys router and well thats about it. LOL oh yeah i keep up on the ms patches. but lately they seems to cause more problems than help. oh yeah running ntfs too

i run system mechanic once a week.

OS patches, ZA, NTFS, McAfee Antivirus and oh ya, 56K dialup. haha
