Anyone for RealOne?
Just curious if anyone has made the move to RealOne or planning to make the move. I think that I will stick with RealPlayer and RealJukebox for the time being. How about you?

The thing I really hate about Realxxx is the fact you gotta spend 20 minutes unchecking boxes to preserve any sort of privacy. Do you want to report back for this? for that? oh you dont want those? oh but I'm SURE you want this right??
Horrible BLOAT ware nowadays
sad cause its the only real streaming option other than MS... and well quicktime, really dislike quicktime crashes way too much...
my vote (albeit biased) will be no.

There are so many things to disable on the basic RP8, I don't want to know about RO.

I finally got around to installing RealOne and since I use it mainly for audio playback of my music library, it doesn't cause much hassle for me and it sounds halfway decent.
I block Realplay.exe and Rndal.exe with Outpost Pro from having any access to the internet so privacy isn't a problem... if there's a video clip I want to see, it's easy to temporarily give RealOne permission for just that one time or I'll d/l it and play it.
I really got tired of the RealOne Message Center popping up whenever it felt like and not knowing just what info Realplay.exe was sending home behind my back.
It's awfully intrusive, but a better alternative than Microsoft Media Player.

i just made the mistake of switching to RO. It's very slow. Even on my 1.2Gig T-bird when playing an mp3 and pushing the menu buttons the song "skips".
I'm going to switch back to RP8.
Thank God that in Linux real player is very, very simplehttp://www.tekshome.com

I'm with Vass on this one. I don't have Real-anything on my box just cause it P's me off. If a movie doesn't work with mplayer or QT, I just don't watch it .

aliens have a strange desire to build archaic structures. I just cant figure out why they don't build a structure with cool alloys and innovative zero point energy modules. Why build...
