how to remove NTFS from HD - Tech Support Forums

I am trying to re-format and/or fdisk a HD that had WinXP on it and I can't seem to get rid of the NTFS partitions. Can someone give me a clue? Thanks

Hi

If you want to install a new OS on that drive, then you will have the option to reformat the file system you want during setup process ..
And if you already have an OS and want to use that drive as Data storage one, then within the OS you can right click on your drive name choose format and before start formatting you choose FAT32 ...
