which one would i use for win xp.. is it the win32 file ? and is this an update?

Yes for windows grab the win32 one. I would also grab the installer one for ease of installation. By the file size it looks like a full version but it may just be able to do an upgrade.

Also nightly builds are the very latest versions which have not been tested and will probably contain bugs.

downloaded the zipped one, extracted the files, but it just seems like it's the same browser i am using...? it didn't install anything... just put it in my documents folder ??

Yea you can run firefox like that, straight from a folder, it does not have to be installed. And yes its going to feel like the same browser its a minor revision not a completely new build.

i'd download the exe installer..........

thats what i did............uninstalled 1.01 installed 1.02.....no probs.

interesting this time i didn't need to reinstall the flash and shockwave plugins.........you know the sirta stuff you need for the games at nickjr.com..............
