Help w/ Installing Windows!!!

OK so I started installing Windows XP, but the OEM software did not include the Product Key. So I found a copy of Windows XP Pro w/ a correct CD Key. The only problem is, is that the computer keeps booting up and starts loading the regular XP and keeps asking for the product key. How can start everything all over again???

Change your BIOS settings to boot to CD first. Normally this is done by holding DELETE while your computer is posting up all the stuff at the beginning...then browse through your BIOS until you find something related to boot order. What do you mean you found a copy? Sounds like it's not a legit key...I dunno.

I tried that and it didn't work. I do have a legit version of XP and a backup of XP Pro.

To start over boot from CD -> Reformat -> Reinstall.
