OK... Im must be doing something wrong,
I download killdisk and unrar it, it creates what looks like another RAR file labeled boot-cd-iso
what do I do with that...
how do I then use that to create a bootable floppy to use the program?
check to see if the floppy drive is enabled in your bios. Also check the floppy drives light on the front of the drive. If it stays green after boot up it is on backwards where the cable is connected to the floppy drive.
After you download the boot disk execute the file you downloaded and it will put the boot files to your floppy disk. Put this in the floppy drive and turn your pc on to boot.
You need a separate floppy disk for Killdisk as it will take up all space on the disk.
Put only the .exe files on the disk. After you have booted remove the boot disk and put in the Killdisk. At the A:\ prompt type Killdisk and hit enter.
