| Licence traking
Hi all in tech land.
I was wondering if any of you use some type of tracking sofware for liceneses.
We have multiple MS lincenses and others that expire at various time trough out there year and I want to track these and know when they are due by some kind of alert.
I do wish these companies were like Citrix as they eventually put it all down to one month and pro-rate what ever is needed.
Any ideas.
Thanks
Paul
P.S Before you all chime in and say Google the question, I already have but wanted to see what the pros suggest. |

My company put me in charge of a program called Express Metrix. It will do exacty what you are talking about and a bunch more, but it can cost some $$$. www.expressmetrix.com

| WinAudit allows you to perform a detailed audit of the hardware and software configuration of your computer. The resulting audit report contains details on installed software, license information, peripherals, memory usage, processor model, network settings, startup programs and more. It can be viewed from within the application, or optionally exported to text, nicely formatted web page, XML and spreadsheet formats. WinAudit also supports ODBC connections and can export audit data to an existing database. Very small, standalone program that works well. http://www.snapfiles.com/get/winaudit.html |
