Question
Generic Host Process for Win32 Services

Hi. Everytime I shut down my computer, I get an error. It has something to do with the Generic Host Process for Win32 Services, but I never get an actual error message or number, it's just a second or two when I see the shut down stop long enough to show me that the computer encountered a problem with the Generic Host Process, after a few seconds the computer shuts down. I don't recall exactly when this started to happen, so I don't know if I installed something that may have triggered the problem. I don't know if it is harming my computer in any way, but it is constant, happens with every shut down. Does anyone know how to resolve this? Do I need to go to MicroSoft to find the error? As always, I look forward to all of the feedback and information I gain from being a junior member of this forum. Thanks.

This behavior may occur if use an old HP printer driver or an old HP scanner driver, are your drivers up to date?
Are you using XP and what version?
