Repairing XP
I have done a full repair from the XP Pro CD. It gets a few minutes into the setup and tells me that it cannot find /Program Files/Intel/igfxext.exe and will not move on. I realize that this is a driver of some sort from my onboard intel video chip but have no idea how to find it and get it loaded. I have browsed most of my computer and cannot find it. Is there anyway to get it without having to completely reload my system?

It won't let you cancel and move on?
Burn the necessary drivers to CD (or floppy if they're small enough). Are you using your onboard video? If not, disable it in the bios.

no, it wont let me move on. I can't find the file anywhere. The other computer I have with me uses a different video chip. I am using a PCI video card and do have my onboard disabled...

Download the files from intel.com, pending on your mainboard (or if you know the type of intel 81 videochip on your board).

Do you have another card you could use to get everything up and running, then try to get the intel POS going?
