Is it true that if you don't get your registry clean, it'll slows down your computer?

well with the adding and removing of programs some entries are left in the registry which causes slow downs. The problem is some entries are still needed and are removed by cleaners causing other issues.

So its a catch 22, you could help your system out or make it worse.
