LINUX SERVER RECOVERY HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We are running a Linux Server (red hat 6.2). It fails to boot up after a power outage. The error message we get is
"
/dev/sda3: UNEXPECTED INCONSISTENCY; RUN fsck MANUALLY.
(i.e., without -a or -p options)
[FAILED]
***An error occured during the file system check.
***Dropped you to a shell; the system will reboot
***when you leave the shell.
Give root password for maintenance
(or type Control-D for normal startup): _
"
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
hurry fast fast

I would suggest that you don't post any threads where the title is on All caps, it isn't too appealing to the eye.
About your problem, I can't help. Sorry!!

Type the "root password for maintenance" & then manual fsck the disk. I can't remember the exact fsck command syntax but "man fsck" or "fsck --help" should be a help.
I dreamt that a large eagle circled the room three times and then got into bed with me and took all the blankets.

Valve cover gasket is shot and it leaks out the back. It's going to get fixed. Someday.
