LINUX SERVER RECOVERY HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We are running a Linux Server (red hat 6.2). It fails to boot up after a power outage. The error message we get is
/dev/sda3: UNEXPECTED INCONSISTENCY; RUN fsck MANUALLY.
(i.e., without -a or -p options)
***An error occured during the file system check.
***Dropped you to a shell; the system will reboot
***when you leave the shell.
Give root password for maintenance
(or type Control-D for normal startup): _
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
hurry fast fast

I would suggest that you don't post any threads where the title is on All caps, it isn't too appealing to the eye.
About your problem, I can't help. Sorry!!

Type the "root password for maintenance" & then manual fsck the disk. I can't remember the exact fsck command syntax but "man fsck" or "fsck --help" should be a help.I dreamt that a large eagle circled the room three times and then got into bed with me and took all the blankets.
