internet explorer help......
been have a problem as of late.i am running xp pro.p4 1.5 ghz 768 mb sdram.
when i try to go anywhere on the net the browser seems to hold and wait like it is doing something before it will go to where ever i am going.ussually takes anywhere from 3 to 7 secs before it goes .i haven't installed anything new.i don't surf porn. i have used f secure for a long time now and it comes up with no malware or viruse.i keep it up to date as a habit. when it is taking so long it is ussually a site i am heading to not a search.it is *like* it is checking the site out before it will allow me to go there. i have tried a a few different virus scans after f secure like housecall and another one i can recall.i have used a registry cleaner and this hasn't helped.the only thing i have done is update my windows. anything i have d/led like movies or mp3s i always scan first .so i am wondering is there some setting in ie that has changed from updating? or does anyone have any idea's whats up.i use dsl high speed but it certainly isn't behaving as high speed.

have you tried another browser? It's a good way to check if it's ie, or something else on your computer.

Try deleting your Cookies and Temporary Internet Files. Even if they are not bad some of them might slow you down, if you have a lot of them.
