Hi all i recently unistalled a VIA controller for my SATA HDD as i didnt think it was being used, but i guess it was because now it wont start properly. It goes through POSt but then i get the 'Windows didn't start correctly, what do you want to do?' and whatever i select...it just reboots and does it again. Please could someone help? thx |

How about last known good configuration?
Do you know how to run system restore form a command prompt? That would be the next thing to do. |

None of the options, i.e. last known good config. work. would a system restore delete all my programs? because if it would...then i might as well reinstall windows. thx. |
