Dang, only 4Mb of ram? I think Avast used around 40Mb...but I guess it depends on how many of the "on access protection" things you have running.

I use lots of anti-spyware because spybot picks sum stuff up at Adaware doesn't etc. MS antispyware also didn't seem to pick anything uop when i used it last time...should try again really.

Yotta-Download and run Spybot and AdAware and post your results. If they find nothing I dub you the king of internet privacy.

I do things on my computer that are not recommended and my computer runs just fine. My anti-virus software is AVG and I double check it with Trend Micro online scan. I'll also do a Panda online every so often. As for spyware, I use Spybot and Spyware Blaster.

I find that Norton is a hog that acts like homeland security in your computer. It thinks everything is malware.

People really need to start using the search function...there have been so many of these threads lately.

Click here and search for spyware, antivirus, norton, etc...

I used to use CWShredder, but it appears this is no longer free as it has been bought up. Anyone know of something similar?
