geez...
you guys sure do use a lot of anti-spyware software.... I only use M$ anti-spyware, avast! as anti-virus and 2 hardware firewalls and i've yet to have any issues...

Dang, only 4Mb of ram? I think Avast used around 40Mb...but I guess it depends on how many of the "on access protection" things you have running.  |

SORRY! Edit, 4.6mb on one of its proccesses, about...20mb in total. SORRY!
I use lots of anti-spyware because spybot picks sum stuff up at Adaware doesn't etc. MS antispyware also didn't seem to pick anything uop when i used it last time...should try again really.

I do things on my computer that are not recommended and my computer runs just fine. My anti-virus software is AVG and I double check it with Trend Micro online scan. I'll also do a Panda online every so often. As for spyware, I use Spybot and Spyware Blaster.
I find that Norton is a hog that acts like homeland security in your computer. It thinks everything is malware.

People really need to start using the search function...there have been so many of these threads lately.

I used to use CWShredder, but it appears this is no longer free as it has been bought up. Anyone know of something similar? |
