None of the above. I always felt like the "fix everything" programs really didn't do any of it well, more like they did everything half-assed. I use the following
Avast! anti virus
Spybot Search & Destroy“Those who desire to give up freedom in order to gain security will not have, nor do they deserve, either one.”

Avast! is probably the #1 anti virus used by techimo members with AVG being #2. Both are free programs with free updates.

I have used SystemSuite (FixIt's big brother) from the time it was a Mijenix product (lineage: Mijenix > OnTrack > VCom > Avanquest). I seldom recommend buying anything that a French company has anything to do with, but this is an exception (Avanquest is French).
. It now includes AV and anti-spyware from TrendMicro (same as PC-Cillin) and the Sygate firewall (Sygate was recently bought up by Symantec, so I don't have any idea what's going to happen with the firewall in the future).
. I also use VCom's PowerDesk Pro - think of it as Windows Explorer on steroids. You get a free, limited version of PD with SS but the $20. upgrade for the Pro version is well worth it (a good use for your rebate money!). About the only thing SS lacks is a disk sector editor, but I don't think even Norton Utils includes that any more (the morons that use PCs these days can't be trusted with such a powerful tool... ).
You can get it from Amazon for $35. shipped, plus there is a $20. rebate link on the Amazon page. Final cost, $15.00, unless you are one that Amazon has to collect sales tax from. Here's the link: SS6Pro
. And here is the mfr. link: http://www.v-com.com

Good Idea for a new quote, he who quotes himself just loves to hear himself speak (type)"When it comes to be when the soothing light at the end of your tunnel...is just a frieght train coming your way." ~Metallica, No Leaf Clover.
