Broadband Fax service

Is it possible to send and receive faxes when you have high-speed broadband cable internet, or do you have to have a phone line and modem? Where or how would I find such a service, Ive looked but could not find anything out there. Really dont want to add a phone line just for faxing purposes, I use my cell phone for local and longdistance calls now, so the line would be just to fax... thanks

there are several online fax services that you could use with broadband. what it does is, you send them the document to fax, then they fax it to the recipient. the only thing is, it costs out the butt. well, maybe not that much. somewhere between $5-10 per month. or some charge per page or minute, ect,ect. if you only send maybe 1 or 2 faxes per month or less, its not worth it. you would be better of hooking your phone line up to it.

you can use your same existing telephne and coect a fax machine to the box.
