MS Word: Creating an Index?

MS Word: Creating an Index?

Hello, how can I created an index in MS Word? Cant find proper instructions through google since the word 'index' is so common.

(I would like to create an index for a word document)

First you need to prepare your file..

Parts you want to show in the index need to be formated as Title 1, Title 2 (there is a button that show the different text properties)

Then you go to Insert then you choose Reference ---> Index and Table

There will be a button to mark down an entry and then you start to mark every entry you want in the index...

Then lastly you insert the index...

I cannot check out correclty the names in english due that my word is spanish I did the best translation possible!

but basically the process I described Its the one I use when I need it
