We recently updated from Office 2000 and Office 2002 Professional to Word 2003 Professional. I fully uninstalled the older versions via the control panel -> add/remove programs. Now, we can not edit documents or templates that were created/edited with the previous versions.
In fact, we can't even use our mice to click and select text in the body of the document. All we can do is tab into the document pane and begin typing. However, any movement within the document must be accomplished solely with the directional keys of the keyboard. Needless to say, our productivity is suffering.
Any suggestions will be helpful.
